A cleverly written and funny script with a sweet story really kept me engaged in the first half of this movie. Then the movie really becomes something else…which I appreciated, but ultimately not what I expected or, frankly, really wanted.
But Mikey Madison’s performance was one of the most compelling and entertaining I’ve seen in a long time
The pacing definitely slowed down a bit too much and I felt like the movie kind of lost its momentum for a bit. The last scene is exactly what I wanted to happen between two characters, but another main character was totally denigrated, which I wish wasn’t the case.
Just for her, I recommend you watch this!
