Unfortunately, a little disappointed

And I’m not quoting Triple H here (if you know anything about Wrestling and WWE you’ll get the reference)… so this time it’s not a pun for obvious reasons. And speaking of that time… I really like Stylist (haven’t seen the short, but it’s the director’s feature debut)… so I guess I had high expectations for this one. Now, the basic idea seems more than good. But I think the script could have used more work. And I checked on imdb and I don’t want to insinuate anything: the director didn’t write this script, someone else did… maybe it would have been better if he had worked on it a little. And then there’s the problem of the actors being unable to save him from himself (again, no pun intended).

The basic idea is strong enough to hold it together… and you could argue that the ending could be… a lifesaver… but I won’t make that… never mind the annoying nature of the characters and the script feels like a goldfish (like they forget their previous emotions and repeat them or do a very weird 180).. and not in a good way. That being said, there is quality here, just embrace the things that most people will see as… flaws. We know the director is capable of something meaningful and exciting… so I’m here for his next film.
